As of April 2021, Claygate Youth Club is part of the new Claygate Youth and Community Hub registered charity. Most young people won't notice much difference yet, although there is a buzz about the place, more youth sessions happening and some great renovations starting to the building!
We currently provide a two evenings a week sessions for young people aged 11-19. We have a range of activities during the evening including football, basketball, arts and craft and pool. We have great facilities and will be providing much more as we develop our centre in the next few months. The Hub aims to provide young people with a safe, caring environment where they can feel welcome, supported and involved. Please contact us if you would like to know more or to volunteer.
Thank you to everyone who supported our vision to turn the youth centre building in Elm Road into a thriving Hub for young people and our community. We are delighted to announce that thanks to Surrey County Council, Claygate Parish Council and Community Foundation for Surrey, this is now a reality! More news soon.
